Tahoe Tuna 8 Day

It has been a fun trip so far for our Tahoe Tuna Club anglers. We've been having a blast pulling on some solid yellowfin tuna, even if we had to pay our fair share of the catch to the tax man.We will give the tuna another try tomorrow before switching gears into yellowtail mode.

We enjoyed another great day of trophy tuna fishing before getting underway. Johney landed the standout fish of the day, a beautiful yellowfin weighing in at around 130 pounds. We will spend the rest of today and part of tomorrow traveling as we shift our focus to searching for yellowtail.

We’ve been grinding it out and putting in the work over the last couple of days to track down the yellowtail through all this warm water pushed up by the recent storms. The persistence finally paid off! We were rewarded with some absolutely phenomenal coastal bass fishing and some great yellowtail action to cap it off.

We are heading home!

Huge shoutout to Tom and Donn Pierson, the Tahoe Tuna Club, and every single angler on board who made this year’s trip so incredible! We had an absolute blast making memories and sharing another epic adventure on the water with all of you.

Youngs Tackle 7 Day

Departed yesterday morning on our Young's Tackle 7-day trip with Kevin Kwon and a great group of friends. Capt. Brian is hosting his tackle seminar after breakfast to get everyone dialed in, rigged, and ready to hunt down yellowfin, dorado, wahoo, and yellowtail.

What an awesome start to our Young’s Tackle 7-day trip! We arrived on scene around 3 PM and got straight to work putting fish on the deck. With some weather rolling in offshore tomorrow, we’re pivoting our game plan and heading to the coast to hunt down some yellowtail!

The fishing has been absolutely phenomenal these last few days! We hit the coast yesterday for yellowtail, then ran back offshore today to load up on tuna and get everyone exactly what they were looking for. We’re going to give the coast one more shot tomorrow before we start our journey up!

Youngs Tackle 7 Day

We enjoyed a fun day yesterday, hopscotching from spot to spot up the coast and picking up some interesting exotics along the way. To top it off, everyone enjoyed another fantastic sushi spread. We will be spending the remainder of our trip offshore to see if we can track down a few wahoo and dorado.

We wrapped up our time on the water by kelping, landing a wahoo and some dorado to end on a high note! It was an absolutely phenomenal trip across the board, featuring fantastic yellowfin tuna and yellowtail fishing. A massive shoutout to Kevin Kwon with Young's Tackle and to all the incredible anglers on board for making this such a special adventure!

Indy Shootout 10 Day

We set sail yesterday afternoon for the annual Indy Shootout 10-Day! As many of you know, there's a sequence of hurricanes tracking up the Pacific Coast, so we're pumping the brakes for about half a day to let the storm clear out. Everyone is completely safe, relaxed, and enjoying some downtime on anchor. We're looking forward to dropping lines sometime Wednesday!

Hurricane Polo has cleared out, and we made it to our destination today under fantastic weather! The ocean calmed right down, and we put together a awesome day on the water with some great fishing to show for it.
