Wish us luck

Working our way back up to the ridge

by Brian Pifer, 11-03-2023

We've spent the last 2 days searching for bigger tuna but never could connect. Covered lots of water and banks for no tuna but managed to have some nice dorado and 1 wahoo. We are working our way back up to the ridge to put some fish on the boat. At least we're enjoying everyone's company and weather.

Epic Day

by Brian Pifer, 11-04-2023

After a slow start to the trip, checking out the lower zones. We had an epic day.

Wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and yellowtail were bitting throughout the day.

Ansalmo and Justin caught wahoo on their homemade wahoo bombs, which made them winners of an Avet reel and a UC rod.

Trying it again tomorrow, hoping for the same results.

Scratched a day together

by Brian Pifer, 11-07-2023

We tried an area today where the fleets been catching yellowtail for the last few months.

Today, they decided to pull a no-show on us. Made the call to travel 20 miles south and scratched a day together. The bonito and barracuda were very aggressive but had decent

opportunity on yellowtail. On our way down moving spot to spot, we did a little whale watching. These humpback whales were cool to watch. Probably jumped 20 times and waved at us as we were leaving as shown in the video.

Yesterday we stuck the weather out and caught some yellowtail

by Brian Pifer, 11-09-2023

Yesterday we stuck the weather out and caught some yellowtail. After the long day fighting the wind we we're rewarded with calmer seas today. Everyone had the chance to break down their gear, guys scrubbed the boat, and everyone is relaxing before we get in tomorrow at 0500. Wanted to the Stan, the sponsors, and everyone for coming out on the trip.

by Brian Pifer, 11-12-2023

The yellowtail we're chewing the paint off the yoyo jigs. Guys were also doing well on dropper loop.

Luke was rewarded with a nice white seabass first thing this morning.

We took off around lunchtime to keep heading south. Tomorrow we're hoping to get on some wahoo and yellowfin tuna action.

Another great day on big wahoo and 20-40lb yellowfin tuna

by Brian Pifer, 11-14-2023

Their was a very short window when the wahoo were on the chew. Took advantage the best we could. After trolling for a while, we got our anchor down and picked away at this beautiful tuna. Heading to a new area tonight, still searching for more wahoo.

by Brian Pifer, 11-15-2023

The wahoo were bitting full speed in the dark and caused a little bit of chaos.

Try one more day for wahoo before heading up.

Today was a different day all around for the tuna and wahoo

by Brian Pifer, 11-16-2023

Today was a different day all around for the tuna and wahoo. Definitely didn't show themselves like they did yesterday, but we still managed to snag a few.

We will be fishing for yellowtail tomorrow.

Wrapping up our 10 Day Open Limited Load

by Brian Pifer, 11-19-2023

We are wrapping up our 10 Day Open Limited Load. We came up to this bluefin zone hoping to catch a few big ones but wasn't able to connect. Maybe we were a day late or mother nature just has the fish down with thr weather. We gave it a good shot say the least. Overall we had excellent wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and yellowtail fishing for our trip. Captain and crew want to thank you all for a great trip. Wewill be getting back to the dock around 0530 tomorrow morning
