OFF TO A GOOD START
After a turn and burn we are back on the grounds with another great group. Graftech Rods with Rick Ozaki in the charter master seat and everyone walked away a winner per usual. There were rods as well as Avet reels handed out and we have already put them to good use. We started out with some really fun Wahoo fishing and we are picking away at those beautiful grade Yellowtail. The weather is picturesque and we are already off to a hefty start. We are gonna hang for a while and hopefully get in on some more of the same tonight and tomorrow. Wish us luck. Matt and Independence Crew

GREAT DAY
Well the gang is back together again for the annual Tahoe Tuna Club charter. After a couple travel days we utilized the time to get ourselves rigged and ready. We arrived yesterday and got busy real quick. We had an excellent day of fishing catching our daily limit of Yellowtail and we had some Yellowfin tuna up to 25 pounds in the mix. Lots of action yesterday just how we like it. The tuna put on a good show and we will be focusing more on them again today. The weather is calm for now and its great to have this happy group aboard again. Wish us luck Matt and Independence crew
trip 21-17 TAHOE TUNA CHASERS FINAL DAYS
Fishing has been fun and busy for us the past few days. We got our fill of yellowtail and started focusing on tuna. We had some good action on school grade yellowfin on our way up and feel very fortunate to say the least. We found a nice bubble of water that we were able to pick away at those tuna and a sprinkle of mahi. We are hoping that those fish will continue to show up down here as they were very aggressive. Yesterday we took the road less traveled and fished our way up the beach. We had good weather to go along with the variety style fishing. We had lots of fun catching calico bass, halibut, and white seabass. We have a few hours this morning to make a few drifts for some lingcod and reds before we start the ride up. This group has always brought some good luck with their awesome attitude to make the trip a lot of fun. We will see you guys at the dock tomorrow morning 5:30am. Matt and Independence crew

TRIP 21-18a Great fishing for first day
We are back at it again and we left on a 3 day open party yesterday. We got in the zone yesterday evening and got straight to business. We had an epic night bite on 40-100+ pound bluefin. There’s seems to be great potential here and it’s great to see more reaction out of these fish. We are hard at it again today and have started our catch for the daylight hours. We will be on scene and keep you posted. Wish us luck. Matt and Indy Crew
